The state is trying to encourage the employment of people with disabilities in the free market in several ways. One of the most important and successful of these is vocational training and integration of people with mental disabilities into the labor market through us - the Shvim Association. The association has a high reputation thanks to the professionalism and quality of service provided to the employees we train and accompany and to the businesses that have opened their doors to these employees. The association operates 10 vocational rehabilitation centers nationwide through which hundreds of employees are trained each year for a variety of sought-after positions such as: assembly line operators, salespeople, pickers, packers, and more. Employing these employees through us guarantees you many advantages:

Job interview

First and most importantly – there are no placement costs as is common with private placement companies. Second, our professional training guarantees you professional and accurate placement, saves you training and absorption time, and even prevents high employee turnover.

Saving time and placement costs

We continue to support the employees you have hired, address challenges if they arise, and assist you in building a healthy relationship with the employee. Furthermore, we make sure to strengthen the employees you have hired and even expand their knowledge and skills through professional training.

Training and expanding professional horizons

Throughout the entire employment period. We are at your service both by telephone and in person on issues related to the employment of employees with disabilities in general or on the individual matter of one of your employees.

Personal support for the employer

Employing employees with mental disabilities joins you in a large family of ethical and social employers, all of whose members receive from us the badge of "a business that supports supported employment and social responsibility."

And there is also an image gain.

The training centers are essentially a network of sheltered enterprises whose goal is to pave the way for employment placement for people with mental disabilities. This is a supportive, guided, and directed employment framework designed to allow you to acquire skills and work habits in order to later integrate into the free labor market. The sheltered enterprises also offer support groups and additional complementary services that expand your employment horizons. Everything is done, of course, with the guidance and support of the staff, both individually and in groups, to promote the occupational rehabilitation processes of each candidate.

We began the article by saying that the state is trying to encourage the employment of people with disabilities in the labor market. Thus, from time to time, the state provides employment incentive grants to workplaces that employ workers with disabilities. Only those who employ workers with disabilities are eligible for these incentive grants.

State grants

As mentors in the mental health field, we are aware that sometimes some of the candidates we mentor need a longer mentorship at the beginning of the position for various reasons. The state bridges the gap and funds the cost of the mentor so that hiring an employee with a disability does not harm you as an employer.

Making workplaces accessible

As an employer, you can pay an employee less than the legal minimum wage by ordering an assessment from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, who will determine the candidate's abilities relative to an employee without a disability. Employees whose disability impairs their performance will be paid an adjusted minimum wage. This way, the social responsibility you have demonstrated will not harm you as an employer.
