The Art of Selling program of the Shvim Association is designed to enable candidates eligible for the Rehabilitation Basket to acquire practical tools in sales, service, interpersonal communication, and sales booth management. The program combines experiential learning with field experience, to enable a gradual, guided, and safer process.
The training is suitable for those who want to experience the world of sales, develop confidence, practice real work situations, and progress to integration into temporary or supported employment. The emphasis is not only on the sales profession, but also on strengthening responsibility, independence, competence, and social skills.
About the Art of Selling Program
The program operates as a rehabilitative occupational framework around sales booths in commercial and shopping centers. Participants learn to market and sell products created in the association's art centers, thus combining professional learning with practical experience in front of an audience.

Who Is the Program For?
The program is designed for individuals who are eligible for Israel’s Rehabilitation Basket (Sal Shekum). Suitable participants are identified in collaboration with Rehabilitation Basket coordinators in the Haifa and Northern Districts, as well as professional staff working within rehabilitation services and programs.
Program Structure
The course consists of 8 sessions, each lasting 4 academic hours, for a total of 32 academic hours. The training methodology is based on experiential learning, personal practice, and hands-on experience at existing sales booths in shopping centers.
What Participants Learn
The training includes practice in sales scenarios, sales skills, customer communication, and negotiation techniques. Learning is delivered through simulations, videos, and additional practical tools, tailored to the pace and needs of the participants.
What Participants Receive Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a certificate issued by the institution. Graduates may also receive assistance in securing sales-related employment opportunities, including ongoing support through transitional employment programs or supported employment services.
