Training course on the art of selling

Our commitment to expanding the range of professions in which we offer you vocational training takes on new meaning here. Contrary to the common belief that the occupational horizon of people with mental disabilities is limited to the industrial sector only (production line operators, for example), our vocational projects span a wide range of professions. There are those for whom the industrial world is a particularly suitable place, there are those for whom engaging in art fills their world with meaning, and there are those whose skills direct them to the field of sales. Here are details about the training program on the subject – The Art of Selling.
The "Art of Selling" training program is an innovative model of vocational training in apprenticeships. The program operates according to the dual model - combining training in the classroom at an educational institution and in the workplace (at booths).

Purpose of the program
To provide you with practical and professional tools while promoting and developing sales skills, functional and social skills, and thus promoting your optimal integration into employment in a normative living environment. The training will be carried out through a course that will be held at a recognized institution with experience and reputation in the field. Each course cycle will contain up to 15 participants.
The training course will be based on experiential learning and personal experience at existing sales stands in shopping centers with the aim of implementing processes, and later placement in sales work in the free market. The project as a whole constitutes a program to integrate candidates into sales jobs in the community, thereby helping to alleviate the negative stigma against mentally ill people that is entrenched in society.
Who is the route intended for?
The program is intended for candidates aged 18 to 55 who are eligible for the rehabilitation basket. Identifying those who are suitable for the program will be done by the occupational rehabilitation team that accompanies you in collaboration with the rehabilitation basket coordinators in the Haifa and Northern districts and the professional workers in the rehabilitation frameworks.
