About Shavim Vocational Rehabilitation Association
Management

The Shavim Association, which has been operating for over 40 years, is headed by people whose sole desire is to do good to others. As those who specialize in vocational rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities and by virtue of the senior positions they held in the Ministry of Health, it is no wonder that they currently hold the reins of management of the Shvim Association. The association's management is made up of two management bodies: the General Assembly and the association's headquarters - and it operates as follows:
The members of the General Assembly function like members of a board of directors that heads the organization and makes the major decisions – developing vocational rehabilitation channels, organizing and distributing budgets, where the association is headed, and other strategic decisions. The role of the members of the association’s headquarters is to implement the decisions of the assembly (board of directors) and put them into effect, and to ensure the ongoing operation of the association across its full range of activities.
