The Shvim Association provides guidance and vocational training to a wide range of people with mental disabilities at various levels. Here, everyone receives a support program that is appropriate for their mental state, skills, abilities, and aspirations. However, this is not enough. To achieve optimal results, two channels must be operated in parallel:
Occupational projects
The system of sheltered enterprises is complemented by the initiation, development, and implementation of professional training tools such as: the establishment of the cooperative gallery, training for work at sales stands, training projects, "Shviim Plus" orientation centers that operate according to innovative models, and more.
Continuous development of employment projects designed to expand the range of employment solutions for people with mental health challenges and the gallery of organizations and workplaces in the free market where we would be happy to see you integrate, persevere, and succeed.
Our advantages
The Shavim Association has one advantage that is not measured in numbers and is actually the basis for anyone who wants to contribute to a healthy society and promote issues such as job placement for people with mental disabilities - an unconditional and unqualified commitment. This is how hundreds of the association's activists who are engaged in the work operate. Training centers
The training centers are essentially a network of sheltered enterprises whose goal is to pave the way for employment placement for people with mental disabilities. This is a supportive, guided, and directed employment framework designed to allow you to acquire skills and work habits in order to later integrate into the free labor market. The sheltered enterprises also offer support groups and additional complementary services that expand your employment horizons. Of course, everything is done with the guidance and support of the staff, both individually and in groups, to promote the occupational rehabilitation processes of each candidate.
Training courses
Training tracks, or in simple terms - on-the-job vocational training - are actually a job placement model for people with mental disabilities that is designed to advance you through on-the-job vocational training. The service is implemented in the Shavim Association's service center factories and in workplaces in the free market, and of course includes full rehabilitation support and guidance to help you absorb and remain in the workplace for a long time. This is an innovative approach that relies on acquiring skills and specializations in the workplace in order to fulfill your current role independently or for promotion to a higher position.
